Yilian Shaoxing · Creating a Winning Future | Biomedical Frontier Science Symposium was Successfully Held
On October 2, the 2026 JAR Innovation and Enterprise Cooperation Forum, Biomedical Breakthroughs & Global Partnership (SERIES II) was held at the Zhejiang (Shaoxing) High-Level Foreign Experts Innovation Center. Attendees included Yi Lili, Associate Professor at the Party School of the CPC Central Committee (National Academy of Governance); Yu Guangmao, Vice President of Shaoxing People’s Hospital; Giancarlo Ruocco,Member of the Academia Europaea; and Pier Paolo Pompa, Distinguished Professor at Zhejiang University (and visiting scientist at the Italian Institute of Technology).
The symposium focused on the discussion on frontier biomedical R&D, international sci-tech cooperation project applications, and key clinical research projects.
Participants reviewed the “Three-Spectral Retinal Imaging Technology for Alzheimer’s Disease” and the “Adult Rib Biological Characteristics Database” projects, and explored cooperation with Professor Stefania Sabella’s team at the Italian Institute of Technology on advanced technologies for precision human and environmental health.
The event marks a shift in cooperation between Shaoxing People’s Hospital and the Park from initial resource matching and platform building to deeper project development, talent collaboration, and achievement transformation.
