Jean-Guy Alex Fontaine
Prof. Jean-Guy Fontaine is Scientific Strategy Advisor of JAR Partner, who combines deep knowledge on scientific technology capabilities with a vision on how to valorize their impact within the real worlds. His leadership and managerial capabilities have solved several complex multinational frameworks.
As a senior advisor, expert in strategic domains and robotics, he served in prestigious institutions: Chief Research Division at the Centre for Maritime Research and Experimentation (CMRE) Science & Technology Organization NATO, Director and founder of a Research Lab at the Italian Institute of Technology (I.I.T) Italy, Full Professor at INSA Val de Loire France, co-director of Laboratoire de Robotique de Paris (LRP) at Pierre & Marie Curie University France.
Prof. Fontaine published over 160 peer reviewed papers in scientific journals, conferences & holds 18 patents.
Bhekie Brilliance Mamba
Professor Bhekie Mamba is the Scientific Strategy Advisor of JAR Partner & Executive Dean of the College of Science, Engineering and Technology, University of South Africa since January 2017. He previously served as the director of the Nanotechnology and Water Sustainability (NanoWS) research unit at the University of South Africa.
Prof Mamba is a visionary and astounding leader and has occupied a number of leadership positions including being a Professor and Head at Department of Applied Chemistry at the University of Johannesburg, Executive Dean of the Faculty of Science at the University of Johannesburg, Director of the DST/Mintek Nanotechnology Innovation Centre – Water Research Node and the Director of the Institute of Nanotechnology and Water Research at the University of Johannesburg.
Prof Mamba has published about 15 book chapters, over 350 journal papers, about 12 technical reports, and over 50 conference proceedings. He has supervised to completion over 100 Masters and Doctoral students who are now either employed or running businesses in SA and other countries in Southern Africa. Besides his established international collaborative research network with other esteemed universities locally and abroad, Prof Mamba has presented his research work at several local and international conferences.
Jiangping Zhang
Jianping Zhang is CEO and co-founder of JAR Partner. He graduated at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Master in Optical Engineering. He has acquired a research background at the Ningbo Institute of Material Technology Engineering (NIMTE) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Among his previous work experiences, he was for many years staff member in a medical device company followed by his former position as financial staff at NIMTE. He has a rich business experience both with private and public subjects, which allows him to properly deal with government and VC. He has a strong capability in understanding the needs of his interlocutors regardless their nationality, therefore he can realize the proper match between foreign companies and Chinese entities, either public or private.
Nazim Agoulmine
Prof. Nazim Agoulmine is a full professor at the University of Evry, France, and a WCU distinguished visiting professor at POSTECH, Korea. Have provided leadership for several large R&D projects in the development of network and service management systems to control high-speed fixed and mobile networks and services using policy and agent-based technologies. Have experience in academia, private industry, and government R&D laboratories. Organized and co-chaired 5 international workshops and 3 major international IEEE conferences in the area of networking, broadband converged networks, and network and service management. Supervised up to 14 Ph.D. students all completed with honor in several top universities in France. Established a number of international collaborations and networks (Europe, Asia, North and South America and Africa)
Remo Proietti Zaccaria
Prof. Remo Proietti Zaccaria is head of the Advanced Concept Laboratory at the Italian Institute of Technology and Professor at the Cixi Institute of Biomedical Engineering, Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His work mainly aims in model-ing and experimentally validate complex systems at the micro/nanoscale with a str-ong emphasis on the final device. In part-icular, his research themes embrace diff-erent topics (i.e. inter-disciplinary) such as photonics, heat generation and diffusion, e-lectric charge/mass diffusion and mechan-ical deformation towards the development of innovative devices for energy manipu-lation (harvesting and storage). Finally, in recent times, his research activity has been extended towards biology with the double fold mission of modeling the funda-mental processes of biological interactions towards the realization of implantable sensing devices.
