UNISA-JAR Partner Joint Energy Symposium
Next-Generation Energy Systems for Sustainable Future
 4 – 6 November 2026
Venue: JAR Partner, Zhejiang (Shaoxing) High-level Foreign Experts Innovation Center, Shaoxing, China

The University of South Africa (UNISA), in partnership with JAR Partner, invites the submission of high-quality research papers for presentation at their Joint Symposium on Energy. The symposium aims to provide a vibrant platform for early-stage researchers, including PhD students and Postdoctoral Research Fellows, working broadly in the field of energy, with a particular focus on renewable energy technologies, energy storage systems, and smart grid efficiency. The event will also feature participation from leading academic researchers and industry practitioners from UNISA, Shandong Jianzhu University, Shaoxing University, Tiangong University, and relevant industry partners, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and international collaboration.

Symposium Themes

  • Submissions are invited under (but not limited to) the following research areas:

  • Renewable energy technologies (solar, wind, hydrogen)

  • Energy storage technologies (battery systems, thermal storage)

  • Smart grid efficiency and optimization

  • Chemical fuel energy

  • Hydrogen energy and fuel cell technologies

  • Electrochemical energy storage

  • Waste-to-energy systems

  • AI-enabled design of energy materials and systems
