To promote international cooperation and exchange, and to carry forward traditional Chinese culture, the Zhejiang (Shaoxing) High-Level Foreign Experts Innovation Center held a Dragon Boat Festival-themed cultural experience event on May 16. Foreign friends from over ten countries, including France, Italy, and Uzbekistan, gathered in the park to experience the charm of traditional Chinese festivals ahead of the holiday.
At the event, participants explored Chinese calligraphy and learned how to make zongzi—glutinous rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo leaves. Through these interactive activities, they gained a deeper understanding of the Dragon Boat Festival’s history and customs, in a setting filled with festive cheer and enthusiasm for cross-cultural exchange.
By organizing this event during the festive season, KIP continues to spark international talents’ enthusiasm and confidence in building their lives and careers in Keqiao, while cultivating a welcoming and vibrant ecosystem that attracts talent from near and far.
