Short Biography:
Environmental engineer researcher & academic. Head of the Department of Geomatics at UANL. Research interests: Disaster Risk Reduction, Application of RS and GIS in multidisciplinary workgroups and projects. Innovating in methodological tools and remote sensor technology (Optical imagery, LIDAR and UAV). Focusing on non-destructive evaluation methods for the assessment of infrastructure, urban green areas, urban rivers and the geophysical and geomorphological changes from triggering factors hydro-meteorological hazards, risks and disasters.
