Maryamsadat Ghoreishi is an accomplished researcher with a strong interdisciplinary background spanning chemical engineering, bio-nanotechnology, and advanced bioprinting systems. She is a Ph.D. researcher at Sapienza University of Rome in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT), where her work focuses on mathematical modeling, electromagnetics, and nanoscience applied to tissue engineering. Her doctoral research centers on a density-controlled 3D bioprinting approach for fabricating hierarchical tissue substitutes, integrating microfluidics, optical systems, and light-scattering principles to precisely control and quantify cell distribution. Through leading experimental protocols and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams, she has contributed to improving reproducibility, accuracy, and functionality in bio-fabrication and regenerative medicine applications.
With prior degrees in Nano-Technology Engineering and Chemical Engineering, Maryamsadat brings a rare combination of strong engineering fundamentals and advanced experimental research expertise. Her professional experience includes research roles in UV disinfection modeling and optical simulations in collaboration with industry partners, as well as supervisory positions in polymer manufacturing and process optimization. She is highly skilled in laser technologies, microfabrication, microfluidics, optical system design, data modeling, and laboratory automation.
