Dr. M. Wahab Hanif is a co-founder of Mingkai Technology in China. He is an experienced academic and technology expert specializing in embedded systems, the Internet of Things (IoT), and academic leadership. From 2016 to 2018, he served as Chief Technology Officer at Technolangs Institute in Pakistan, where he led industrial automation projects and developed IoT-based home automation solutions. Between August 2020 and May 2023, he held the position of Principal at Shiblee Group of Colleges, Pakistan.
During his PhD, Dr. Wahab served as a Pre-Postdoc researcher at SAMTECH in Keqiao International Park, China, where he actively contributed to the development of an AI-driven autonomous rover designed to optimize sustainable farming practices through intelligent automation. Earlier, during his master’s studies, he worked as an embedded systems developer on two research projects funded by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, supporting research-led industrial solutions.
Dr. Wahab has published multiple research articles in internationally recognized journals and holds two patents in embedded systems. He aims to drive the convergence of IoT and Artificial Intelligence to solve industrial challenges through intelligent systems, with a focus on enabling predictive maintenance, real-time monitoring, energy-efficient operations, and automated control, paving the way for smarter, data-driven industrial ecosystems.
