KEQIAO Talent
Donkoh Ignatius Kwaku (MBBS, IMPH, BSc in Biomedical Science) graduated from the University of Ghana with a bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Science specializing in cell and tissue technologies. He has served as a biomedical scientist, assisting with cytology research in the Department of Pathology at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Ghana.
In 2011, Donkoh Ignatius Kwaku came to China to pursue a Doctor of Clinical Medicine degree. After completing his studies, he returned to Ghana and interned at Ridge Hospital in Accra. Developing a keen interest in medical devices and 3D printing technology, he joined the Keemal 3D team, where he played a key role in researching “medical solutions.”
His deep knowledge of medicine and ongoing research in the field have been essential to the project’s success. Together with a team of Keemal researchers, he is conducting in‑depth studies of material properties and clinical application requirements to develop redesignable prosthetics. By incorporating porous, topological, and other advanced structures, they aim to enhance the biological and mechanical compatibility of medical products.
