A KIP-based company exports self-developed drones to a U.S. university, taking a key step toward internationalization

Recently, the research drone company established by KIP talent Amar Missoum successfully exported a batch of self-developed drones to the Oklahoma Aerospace Institute for Research and Education (OAIRE) at Oklahoma State University. This marked a significant step from in-house R&D to entry into the international market. The drones will be used primarily for research and teaching in aerospace engineering.

Amar Missoum is a drone design expert with over 20 years of experience in the aerospace field. He previously contributed to the design of the Airbus A340-300 in the UK and taught at Shenyang Aerospace University and Shenyang Institute of Engineering. Three years ago, he settled in KIP and founded Shaoxing Amar Missoum Technology Co., Ltd., where he was selected as a district-level talent project and began his innovation journey in China.

As the low-altitude economy gains momentum, it creates strong opportunities for drone technologies to expand globally. KIP will continue to support the needs of overseas talents, optimize its service environment, strengthen support for tech commercialization and international collaboration, and help more innovations move from the lab to the global market—injecting new vitality into an open innovation ecosystem.
