Short Biography:
Dai Keren, Ph.D., Postdoctoral Fellow, Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor. He currently serves as the Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Geohazard Prevention and Geoenvironment Protection (Chengdu University of Technology). He is a recipient of the Sichuan Provincial Outstanding Youth Science Foundation Grant, Deputy Secretary-General of the Sichuan Society for Geodesy, Photogrammetry and Cartography, Member of the Geodesy and Navigation Committee of the Chinese Society for Geodesy, Photogrammetry and Cartography, Member of the Party Group Committee of the Aerial Remote Sensing Technology for Natural Hazards and Ecological Environment under the Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics and Engineering, Standing Member of the Radar Remote Sensing Special Committee of the China Association of Remote Sensing Applications, Member of the International Exchange and Cooperation Working Committee of the China Geographic Information Industry Association, and Vice Chairman of the Chenghua District Youth Federation of Chengdu.
As a key contributor, he has received the First Prize of Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award (R3), the Second Prize of Tibet Autonomous Region Science and Technology Award (R2), the “Promising Young Scientist Award” from the International Consortium on Landslides, the First Prize of the Natural Resources Science and Technology Award, and the Second Prize of the China Transportation Association Science and Technology Award. He has led or participated in major national and international projects, including the National Key R&D Program of China, the National 973 Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, projects of the UK Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), cooperative research programs with the German Aerospace Center (DLR), and cooperative research programs with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). He has published over 50 academic papers as first author or corresponding author in top-tier journals in his field. He holds 3 authorized U.S. invention patents and over 10 authorized Chinese invention patents.
