How to reach Shaoxing University and Keqiao International Park
By Air to Shaoxing
Shaoxing has no airport of its own. The closest major Airport is:
Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (HGH)-about 30 km (18–20 miles) from Shaoxing.
Other options include Ningbo Lishe International Airport (NGB) and Shanghai airports, but they are farther.
So typically, you would:
Fly into Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (HGH) if possible.
From there, travel by road/train to Shaoxing.
From the Airport to Shaoxing
Once you land at HGH:
There are shuttle buses that run between the Airport and Shaoxing.
There are also private transfers/taxis
High-speed trains are also an option, especially if coming from other major cities in China. Shaoxing is connected by rail, and trains can be very fast.
To Shaoxing University (绍兴文理学院, Shaoxing Wenli Xueyuan)
Distance: ~40 km (about 1 hour by car).
Options:
Taxi/Private Car:
Easiest and most direct. You can take an airport taxi or pre-book a private transfer.
Cost: ~150–200 RMB.
Duration: ~50–60 minutes.
Airport Shuttle Bus + Taxi:
Take the airport shuttle bus to Shaoxing city center.
From the drop-off point, take a taxi or ride-hailing (like Didi) directly to Shaoxing University.
More economical, but less direct.
Train Option:
From the Airport, first go to Hangzhou East Railway Station (about 30 min by taxi or shuttle).
Take a high-speed train to Shaoxing North Station (~20 min).
From Shaoxing North, take a taxi (~20 min) to the University.
To Keqiao International Park (China Textile City / Keqiao District, Shaoxing)
Distance from Airport: ~25 km (about 35–40 minutes by car).
Options:
Taxi/Private Car:
Fastest and most convenient.
Cost: ~100–150 RMB.
Duration: 35–40 minutes.
Shuttle Bus + Taxi:
Take an airport shuttle bus to Shaoxing/Keqiao.
From the bus station, take a taxi to the International Park.

The Shaoxing University is located on the southwest side of Shaoxing city and has managed to grow in popularity and strength over the last decade. The University was founded in 1909 as the Shankuai Primary Normal School. The great modern Chinese author Lu Xun (1881-1936) is a native of Shaoxing. He was the school’s education inspector.
