The recently concluded PhD Camp 2025 brought together a dynamic group of young\u00a0researchers\u00a0from Pakistan, Iran, Nigeria, Tunisia, Algeria and South Africa.\u00a0This academic event served as a dynamic platform for emerging scholars to present their research across a broad spectrum of disciplines, reflecting the diversity and strength of scientific and technological innovation in the region.<\/p>\n

Throughout the camp, we were honored to host a panel of esteemed experts and professors<\/p>\n

Jean-guy Alex Fontaine- founder of Jean-guy Lab, National-level Talent<\/p>\n

Remo Proietti Zaccaria- head of the DELTA lab at the ltalian Institute of Technology (IIT),<\/p>\n

Director of the SIC, Provincial-level Talent<\/p>\n

Khalid Zahouily- founder of Zhejiang Adventa New Materials Co., Ltd, National-level Talent<\/p>\n

Masood Varshosaz- professor at Shaoxing University<\/p>\n

Amar Missoum- CEO of Shaoxing Amar Missoum Technology Co., Ltd., Research Fellow of UNISA<\/p>\n

who evaluated each project with thoughtful insight and rigor.\u00a0Their international perspectives added great value to the discussions, helping guide the candidates in refining their work and exploring potential applications beyond the academic realm.<\/p>\n

His\u00a0research demonstrated exceptional innovation, clarity of vision, and strong potential for real-world application.<\/p>\n

Summaira Jabeen- graduated from Zhejiang University, her research background was Dual Branch Neural Network for Speaker Recognition<\/p>\n

These candidates were recognized for their strong academic contributions and\u00a0promising research directions.<\/p>\n

To recognize their exceptional efforts and innovative ideas, we awarded three prizes and presented certificates to all winners and finalists. These awards are not only a celebration of their achievements but also a token of our confidence in their potential to shape the future.<\/p>\n

Opportunities Beyond <\/strong>t<\/strong>he Camp<\/strong><\/p>\n

Beyond recognition, the PhD Camp 2025 also focused on facilitating long-term opportunities for participating candidates.<\/p>\n

Access to the Keqiao Talent Program:<\/strong>\u00a0From this camp we selected three candidates who will apply to the Keqiao Talent Program and we also encouraged to apply\u00a0other participants. This initiative offers outstanding support for researchers to launch their own startups and bring their ideas to life in a thriving innovation ecosystem.<\/p>\n

Postdoctoral Pathways:<\/strong>\u00a0One of the candidates get an offer by one of the expert to apply for the postdoc position in his group.<\/p>\n

The next round details will be announced in August.<\/p>\n
