Short Biography:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Zongda Wu, born in 1983 in Taishun, Zhejiang Province, received a doctoral degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology and completed postdoctoral research at the University of Science and Technology of China as well as Nanjing University. He is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, and currently serves as Dean of the School of Intelligent Engineering, Shaoxing University. He is the recipient of numerous prestigious honors, including the Zhejiang Provincial Outstanding Youth Science Fund, Young Top-notch Talent under Zhejiang Ten-Thousand Talents Program, Leading Talent in Zhejiang Philosophy and Social Science Planning, Zhejiang Zhijiang Young Top-notch Talent, Leading High-level Top-notch Talent in Zhejiang Institutions of Higher Education, Senior Expert of Shaoxing City, and Distinguished Jianhu Scholar (Category A) of Shaoxing University. He also holds concurrent academic appointments as Vice Chairman of the Zhejiang Information Resources Management Society, Director of the Key Laboratory for Multimodal Digital Smart Cultural Tourism under the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and Director of the Shaoxing Key Laboratory of Intelligent Perception and Cybersecurity.
He has presided over 4 research projects funded by the National Social Science Foundation of China or the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 4 major provincial and ministerial-level projects such as the Zhejiang Provincial Major Science and Technology Pioneer Program, 4 key provincial and ministerial projects including the Key Program of Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation, as well as 6 general provincial and ministerial projects represented by the Humanities and Social Sciences Fund of the Ministry of Education. The total research funding under his leadership amounts to nearly 20 million RMB. As the first author or corresponding author, he has published more than 80 academic papers, among which 34 are indexed in SCI\/SSCI Q1, 4 are ESI Hot Papers, and 12 are ESI Highly Cited Papers, with over 4,000 total non-self citations. He has authored 5 academic monographs as the first author and holds more than 20 authorized national invention patents, 5 of which have been licensed for commercialization. As the first completer, he has been awarded 9 government-level prizes in total, including 1 Excellent Achievement Award from the National Social Science Fund of China, 2 Second Prizes from Zhejiang Provincial Excellent Achievements in Philosophy and Social Sciences, and 1 Third Prize from the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Award. His personal honours include National Excellent Member of the Jiu San Society, Zhejiang Model of the Jiu San Society, Excellent Teacher of Zhejiang Province, Outstanding Contribution Award for Municipal Practice of Chinese Modernization, and National Young Information Scientist Award from the China Society for Scientific and Technical Information.
