Andrei Kabashin<\/h1>

An expert in the field of biosensing, he obtained his Ph.D. from the Russian Academy of Sciences. Currently, he serves as the Director of the French National Center for Scientific Research and is a professor at the National Research Nuclear University in Russia. He is recognized as one of the world’s leading experts in laser nanomanufacturing, photonics biosensing, and imaging. He has published over 260 papers in top-tier international journals, with an h-index of 59 and over 14,000 citations. He has led or participated in more than 20 projects in France and Russia, making significant contributions across various fields.<\/p>

His pioneering work includes surface plasmon resonance (SPR) biosensing technology, which has emerged as a rapidly developing research area with commercial potential. He authored the groundbreaking concept of “plasmonic metamaterials for biosensing,” significantly enhancing the sensitivity of label-free biosensors and achieving detection limits down to the single molecule level. Additionally, he is a pioneer in laser-assisted synthesis of nanomaterials in liquid and gas environments.<\/p>
