UNISA-JAR PARTNER JOINT ENERGY STORAGE SYMPOSIUM 2025

CALL FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS

UNISA-JAR Partner Joint Energy Storage Symposium
Advancing Innovation in Energy Storage for a Sustainable Future
 September 2025
Venue: JAR Partner, Zhejiang (Shaoxing) High-level Foreign Experts Innovation Center, Shaoxing, China

The University of South Africa (UNISA), in partnership with JAR Partner, invites the submission of exceptional research papers to be presented at their Joint Energy Storage Symposium 2025. This event aims to provide a platform for early-stage researchers (PhD students and postdoctoral fellows) and leading experts from academia and industry to discuss the latest advancements in energy storage technologies.

The symposium will focus on cutting-edge innovations in energy storage, which are critical pillars of global sustainability. Key areas of discussion will include advancements in battery technologies such as solid-state batteries, lithium-ion batteries, and next-generation energy storage systems. The event will also explore advanced methods for grid integration, including smart grids and energy management systems, as well as breakthroughs in renewable energy storage solutions like hydrogen storage, thermal energy storage, and pumped hydro storage. These technologies are essential for addressing challenges such as energy access, grid stability, and the role of energy storage in mitigating climate change.

Delegates will have the opportunity to exchange ideas, foster collaborations, and showcase innovative solutions that address pressing global energy challenges. The symposium will highlight the transformative role of energy storage technologies in enabling a cleaner, more resilient future. By integrating cutting-edge research with practical applications, the event will explore how advancements in energy storage can drive progress in renewable energy adoption, industrial efficiency, and sustainable development.

Participation will include researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers with a shared vision of pushing the boundaries of energy storage technology to create a smarter, more sustainable world.
